Top 25 Favorite Uses for Young Living's Premium Starter Kit

It’s no secret that we love the Premium Starter Kit from Young Living. Not only is it the easiest way to get started with essential oils, but between the 11 oils and the diffuser it’s a crazy good deal. But I know all these oils can be a little overwhelming at first, so I wanted to create a list of my 25 favorite ways to use those 11 oils and hopefully they will give you somewhere to start when you open your big box of happy! (My first suggestion? Crack open that diffuser and get 4-6 drops of Stress Away going while you sit there with a big smile on your face, drifting off to happy land). Let’s dive right in, shall we?

  1. Use 5-7 drops of Citrus Fresh in your diffuser to freshen up a stinky room.

  2. Zesting up my morning glass of water with a drop of Lemon Vitality (be sure to use glass or metal for your cup and straw).

  3. Pampering myself by adding a drop of Frankincense to my facial moisturizer before applying.

  4. Taking some DiGize and coconut oil and rubbing it on my stomach after a big meal.

  5. Adding 3 drops of Peppermint Vitality to my favorite brownie recipe to give it a minty twist.

  6. Placing some Citrus Fresh on a piece of cardboard and putting it at the bottom of your trash can to keep the stink at bay.

  7. Taking a breather and using Stress Away in the diffuser when I need to relax (perfect for bedtime).

  8. My favorite combination of Lavender and Frankincense in the diffuser every night to fall asleep (3 drops of Frankincense and 4 drops of Lavender should do the trick).

  9. Creating a relief roller ball with 20-30 drops of PanAway and fractionated coconut oil.

  10. Copaiba Vitality in a vegetable capsule every morning to support optimal body function (look up’ll be amazed).

  11. A drop of Peppermint Vitality or Thieves Vitality with my aromabright toothpaste for extra freshening or oral health.

  12. Adding Lavender to my witch hazel facial toner for it’s calming properties.

  13. Using Raven for steam distillation to open up your sinuses (heat a mug of water for 2 minutes and add 5 drops of Raven to the top and inhale while keeping your eyes carefully covered).

  14. Combining a drop of Thieves Vitality with a tablespoon of coconut oil for oil pulling (does awesome things for your oral health).

  15. Adding a drop of Thieves Vitality to your coffee grounds before brewing to add some spicy immune support to your daily cuppa.

  16. Copaiba Vitality on baby’s gums while teething (this is every mom’s favorite).

  17. Taking a whiff of Peppermint when you need a boost of energy.

  18. Using Lavender for nearly any skin condition ( helps with nearly anything).

  19. Using Frankincense while meditating or practicing yoga for grounding.

  20. Combining Lavender with a pinch of salt and water in a spray bottle to create a relaxing pillow spray.

  21. Adding a drop of Raven to the bottom of your tissues to infuse them with it’s properties in preparation for colder months.

  22. Creating an immune support roller with Thieves and FCO and applying it to the bottom of your feet every night before bed.

  23. Bring Peppermint Vitality on long car rides to sniff if you’re not a very good passenger (raising my hand over here).

  24. Combining PanAway and Copaiba with epsom salts for a relaxing bath that helps soothe muscles.

  25. Combining Raven with some coconut oil and rubbing on your chest for respiratory relief in the wintertime.

That should be more than enough to get you started on your wellness journey, but in case it isn’t, you can find more posts about the PSK here. If you still need to order your big box of happy head over here to learn more and give your hands on all this goodness.
